To be fair, when it comes to a character as erratic as Deadpool, "Merc" is probably as succinct a description you can give.

As opposed to "genetically-enhanced regenerating supersoldier cancer patient gun for hire" or something.

I would not feel bad about giving him one or two levels in sorceror, specializing in illusions/buffs. In Kelly's run in particular, he often seemingly stepped beyond human capability at will, attributed to his knowledge of the 4th wall and panel borders.

It is always fun when Spider-Man and Human Torch team up for adventures.

Why is Cable listed as a wildcard when it is very obverse where his loyalties lie. So unless something happens in the lead up mini-series, I doubt that will be changing.

I doubt Wonder Man will show up in this, even though his appearance would be interesting. Especially if he brought the Revengers in with him.

I think the wild card factor with Nate is that he's not clearly on the X-Men's side either. He's on Hope's side.

Bubbles was always my favorite. She's just so loveable. As for Buttercup, her angry face just makes you want to pinch her cheeks.
