You know, I really have difficulties understanding who thought this storyarc was a good idea. Bane is going to be the big bad in one of the biggest movies of this summer and they the creative over in the Batbooks thought this would be the ideal story in pushing him? On the other hand, I kind of have to give them credit by having Bane be pretty different from what he has been established in DC continuity as well as how he appears to be in the movie. It takes creative guts to decide to disregard both of those versions to create a new version which has almost no future story potential and have him serve secondary to the new villain of the story.
On another note, does anyone remember who the writer of DARK KNIGHT going to be? I just can't seem to remember it.
