I know this is just me, but somehow Selina feels significantly better written in the five pages of this issue than she does in all seven issues of Catwoman.
I liked issue 7 a lot, too. It was nice seeing Selina having fun being a thief and I liked how they made you think that one dude with the electric powers was going to start a rivalry with her and then at the end he's all like, "Hey, I steal stuff, and you steal stuff, so we should steal stuff together!" lol.
Yeah--and it really was something we've never seen Selina do before. Plus, Adriana Melo's art was mad pretty, even if it wasn't as dynamic and pops as much as March's.
Yes Bruce, because yelling at her and having spit fly into her face is going to make her remember faster. Why don't you try shaking her? I'm sure that will help. lol
I remember when I posted the "Son of the Demon" (probably back on old S_D), and at one point Bats protects Talia and their unborn child... by bodily shoving her backwards.
I LOVE that they've kept the Darwyn Cooke redesign more or less this long but it bugs me to now end that they've vacuum sealed that costume, I blame Lee in Hush arc but it probably happened earlier than that. The Cooke original was pretty skintight but it was portrayed as very combat body-suit look instead of a gymnast tight suit. Like, there was fabric that draped in between her breasts and had some weight and a tiny bit of room to it. Like an Emma Peel leather suit. Not vacuum sealed each boob is separate thing.
That's probably my only gripe. Catwoman is always going to have a slinky suit but to make her look really good I wish artists would draw it closer to the way Cooke intended.
And I used to like Tony Daniel's Selina a lot too. Not only is he aping March's dilated pupils, he's also taking a page from Winick's deranged incompetent thief. In other words, the worst of both worlds.

I mean, seriously. it looks like she has some kind of avant-garde tattoos on her face rather than she's reflex-crying.

Marcus To would probably draw it that way.
