New Frontier: A Moment of Wonder
Apr. 25th, 2012 12:26 pm A page and a panel from the comic.

And in addition, I finally found confirmation that Wonder Woman was around in the Young JusticeVerse since WW2. So Mod Wonder Woman is technically possible, in-universe.

Spoilers
Date: 2012-04-25 12:23 pm (UTC)Basically the idea is that in the New Frontierverse, the island upon which the War that Time Forgot comics are based is actually a country-sized Lovecraftian beastie known as the Centre. Sensing the beginning of the nuclear age, the Centre decides (after psychically causing various doomsday cults to spontaneously emerge around the world) that Earth is pretty much screwed, so he decides to go to the world's largest supply of rocket fuel and blast itself into space so it can go and live it's billion year lifespan somewhere else.
On the way there, it annihilates Paradise Island (it was going in a straight line, and the Amazons had the misfortunate to be in its way) and sends out weird mutant dinosaurs compromised of its own bodymass to get rid of the assorted heroes that are trying to stop the Centre, as it's attempt to leave the planet will ignite the atmosphere on it's way out.
Jimmy Olsen is there because Superman had attempted to stop the Centre solo, with Lois and Jimmy covering the event as journalists, and they kind of just get stuck there after Supes is apparently defeated.

Re: Spoilers

In Fawcett City, home of Captain Marvel/Shazam and Co. it'll be more quite hijinxs and be more fun, in Metropolis it'd be more exciting but potentially more dangerous due to the alien invasions, while in Gotham... you have about as much chance as anyone else.
