scans_daily From Paul Dini's Detective Comics run, Bruce has a flashback to his first birthday following his parents' deaths. Understandably he's depressed, with even his best friend Thomas Elliot not doing anything to help cheer him up, luckily the daughter of a friend of his folks' is there to try and make his day a little brighter.
...Except with how he did forgive her, roughly an issue after this scene.
Hm, probably should post a bit of the Adventure of Zatanna's, Bruce's and Hush's Parents from Streets of Gotham at some point, as it actually was interesting. Even though it came with (dun dun dun) yet another possible Joker origin.

Seriously, I loved Dini's run on Detective, but I wish he'd either gotten Dustin Nguyen sooner or managed to keep JH Williams III for more than one issue. I could never get behind this art.
