Yay, Squire and Knight exist still! Although I think it won't happen, her and Cyril hanging out with Diana would be cool.

In September 2012, DC Comics will release 0 issues—and we don’t mean we aren’t publishing any titles—but what we will be doing is numbering every DC COMICS-THE NEW 52 title #0.

#0s will be stand-alone stories. “Some issues will tell the origins of a character or a team, or in some case where an origin has already been told, they will fill in the blanks in terms of questions readers may have about the New 52 DC Universe,” said Bob Harras, DC Entertainment Editor-in-Chief. “Each of these issues promises to reveal something surprising.”"

Eh, at this point I'm pretty certain she's dropped off the side of the planet as Didio just flat out dislikes the character. She MIGHT be appearing in this new series that Gail Simone is apparently working on, which I think might basically be a reworking of Birds of Prey only with Cass, Lois Lane and a bunch of other people.

Other than that, the only other place where I think that she'll be appearing in, besides a possible camo in Batman Inc., might possibly be in Young Justice season three.

When has he said that he flat-out dislikes the character, BTW? I've always heard people say that, but never actually give out any links or anything. And why do you think they're reworking Birds of Prey?

If I know she's around still, I'll definately say here first.

I just don't think it's very likely at this point, as her and Steph's existance just messes up the timeline for Steph Mk. 2, aka DCnU Babs.

I suppose in a way maybe it's better. Considering how many of the characters have changed to be more "gritty" combined with the whole Beechen run, DCnU Cass could end up being completely different from pre-boot Cass.

Of course I'm disappointed it wasn't Cass too, but I gotta sound a secondary note of disappointment that it wasn't Steph in one of her many guises either. (Spoiler v.1 for Inc., anyone?)

I was hoping for Cass, too :( I'm hoping she at least shows up in a panel or two in one of the zero issues, just to confirm she's still around in some capacity somewhere.

It's quite obvious there are some amongst DC who don't like Cass. But there are some that do. Kyle Higgins, Scott Snyder, Billy Tucci, Gail Simone, and there's a few others that do enjoy the character. It's just that.. well certain people are making it difficult for them to use her. If it's cause Morrison has a plan for her during Leviathan who knows.

Other than just read the caption of Cass during the Batman Inc trade. They list her as former and temporary Batgirl and "wonderful". Be that's the only words they use to describe a good guy during it.

Based on what Simone's said about her ideas for Cass in the past, I'm going to subscribe to the notion that just because someone LIKES a character, doesn't mean they should be writing them.
