Everything that happens before this to Grifter kind of sucks. His brother died. His girlfriend abandoned him in a diner. He is getting chased by aliens that want to kill him (and maybe probed him). So here is when he decides to bring the crap to the daemonites. He captures ones, and finding that it worked at Q-Core, then barrels in ready to get some answers.

Oliver is not amused.

Green Arrow tells him he is a lunatic. Then disarms him. A girl named Sofia then helps Grifter escape.

Daemonites take him hostage.

Sofia to the rescue (again). She is bad ass. And terribly lucky. Also, Grifter find his girlfriend was kidnapped after she left him.

Sofia makes an explosive distraction.

Tsavo really should of told his fellow aliens.

And she should have believed him about the aliens.

Grifter #4-6

Over all, I'm not really sure what to think of this series still. But it's vaguely interesting and I only own the first 8 issues but I may have to get the rest.

I read the last few issues after Edmonson left...it may sound odd, but I think Liefeld's influence did kinda help. It's not GREAT, but it has some decent action and a little more interesting character in how Liefeld/Tieri handle Cole. It also has the first appearance of Cheshire in the New 52.

I re-watched the DC Animated Short of Green Arrow (Extended!) yesterday.
I kinda wish the New 52 GA book was similar to it in tone & design :/

I actually really liked this book for the first 8 issues. And then they gave it to Liefeld because nobody was buying it and it got awwwwful.

Odd question, but do ALL the non-powered heroes buy their boots from the same place? Green Arrow and Nightwing seem to have the same ribbed footwear vibe going on.

Marvel has Night Nurse. DC has....Al Bundy - Daytime Shoe Salesperson.

I gave this up once Liefeld was brought on. I just can't take his art unless it was actually drawn in the 90's.

Which came first, Avengers or this comic? Because there's a terrible case of costume sameness.

Then again, Hawkeye=Green Arrow in this comic=Red Arrow/Arsenal=Iforgothissupername Conner in terms of newfangled costume.
