Boy scouts gone monster hunting

Awhile ago, on the web comic series Penny Arcade, they did a short story called Lookouts. About a group of boys - in something almost like boy scouts - as they learn to hunt monsters. Now, it is a comic series published by Comixology. The first issue will be on sale in stores in August, and is already in digital format.

These are the images from the PA preview. I love the art of it and the issue probably has the best image of a troll under a bridge that I have ever seen (which I really wish I had a scan of).

For the first issue, I like it. Some reason, the feel of the story reminds me of the animated movie The Secret of Kells. Almost like it has the makings of an old school fairy tale (probably not quite as violent).

"What a man must know, a boy must learn" I loved the comics on the PA site, so I'll definitely be getting this.

Wow. I must pick this up. It really seems to capture the original comics in tone, color and most importantly, in spirit.
