scans_dailySuperman, Superboy, and Supergirl will be in a crossover event called "H'el on Earth" in November!
H'el is first appearing in Superboy #14 which picks up events from Superman #13.
Then Supergirl #14, where it looks like he's sending Superboy's brain to loopy land.
The event will then end in Superman #14, which surprisingly does NOT have a cover of H'el abusing Superboy in some way! Though only because he's apparently already beaten him and Supergirl...

Date: 2012-08-11 08:49 am (UTC)And in fairness, Bizarro can be goofy, but the notion that an imperfect clone with all the powers of Superman (or in some cases reversed powers, like ice vision and flame breath) AND a reversed moral code where good = evil and vice versa, is a fairly disturbing one, and one that easily lends itself to a serious threat.

I think this H'El is supposed to be some sort of homage to Bizarro or whatever, but it's just not working for me (the outfit is kind of cool, but I'm not sure if he's supposed to look like a Bizarro, or a zombie, or just a random heavily-scarred Kryptonian dude with substantially lighter skin than you'd expect from someone powered by sunlight).
