Yet another case of "if you had told me that Sonic and Megaman were two of the most well thought out and unpredictable comics on the stands" I would have laughed in your face. I need this book.

I know the feeling. I had resigned Sonic to kiddie comic that were beneth me back in middle school. Now years later I rediscover it and it amazing. I love what Flynn has done with these franchises. Robotnick has become one of my favorite villains of all time.

Wow, so it turns out working for an insane evil sorcerer, one of the few guys who can legitimately out evil Eggman (And after his recent showings, that is saying something) is a BAD IDEA.

To be fair to Geoffry, Nagus has been presenting himself as good, legitimately defeated a few threats to the kingdom recently, and has been helping Geoffry for a long time, and some of his claims made sense (like the need to depose the former King Max in accordance with a deal Ixis and Max made, as Max was losing it). And Ixis has been willingly working alongside the council and the like, so he seemed reformed.

Outside of private, he's been good at keeping up his image.

He's hardly the only person to have issues with the royalty either - the council of Acorn was formed directly because people were angry with a string of bad judgements made by the Acorns.

Y'know, I feel bad for Geoffrey here - he wants to help save the KINGDOM, even if that means deposing the current royalty and replacing them with another, which is actually a fairly legitimate tactic with monarchies. The problem is that he's backing someone that is so OBVIOUSLY EVIL that it really sucks all the pathos of his situation and turns him into a sucker.

Now, if Ixis was more like Mammoth Mogul or Dimitri, people who are evil/morally gray but are still capable leaders, I could see it. But really Ixis is just another power-hungry nut.

He did get to Geoffrey when he was a kid, and Ixis has been acting like he's a Mammoth Mogul or such.

Well Mogul is the founder of the Ixis Cult, so maybe Geoffrey could go find a true Ixis master to be an apprentice to, plus free buffet copouns

Which reminds me, I like what they're doing with Silver and him slowly realizing Mogul's an Ixis master and all that.
