Erik Ko of UDON is writing a webcomic based on a (very silly) 1980's Japanese arcade game called Wonder Momo. It's broad, simple, a little bit cheesecakey, and goofy. It made me laugh, so I'm sharing it with you.

But why do an English-language comic of a 25-year-old video game that was never released outside Japan? (Other than the fact that it's cute?) Humon's Scandinavia and the World has the answer, when (national personifications) Sister America and Sister Japan meet:

"America is super popular in Japan, and Japan is super popular in America, though most everyday people in either country don't know this."
