IIRC it was more The Snoop Sisters than Miss Marple, but I could be wrong.
And of course the big question if such a magnificent notion were to be considered would be WHICH Miss Marple?
The amazing force of nature that was Margaret Rutherford?
Or the more composed, less gung-ho but marvellous in her own right Joan Hickson? (Seriously, there's a moment in "A Pocketful of Rye" where she mentions that the disrespect the murderer showed to their victim after killing her' "That made me VERY angry" where I swear the quiet way she says it lowers the temperature by five degrees)
(We shall not mention the Geraldine McEwen/Julia MacKenzie "Marple" series, as despite both being fine character actors in their own right, the series is... IMHO at any rate, painful to watch.)
Founded by girl geeks and members of the slash fandom, scans_daily strives to provide an atmosphere which is LGBTQ-friendly, anti-racist, anti-ableist, woman-friendly and otherwise discrimination and harassment free.
Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.
