Don't say I didn't warn you. It's a rerun, but some reruns are worth seeing again, besides we have a lot of new members.
For those unfamiliar with "Batman and Sons" (and if you've been on s_d for any length of time, there's no excuse for such laxness), it's a webcomic detailing the lives of a rather different Bat-family. In THIS universe, Batman is raising three Robin's and a Batman all at the same time and though he loves his kids, they can be something of a handful to even the best father.
There's Dick (The oldest at 12, big brother, slightly neurotic about his Dad's expectations), Jason (about 9 I think, hellraiser, basically Bart Simpson with a cape), Timmy (Five, just wants his Daddy's love, but has that slightly skewed worldview that only someone about five can have) and clocking in at not a year old yet, Terry (Who is weaponised cuteness in a Batman binkie). (Damian exists in this world, but we've never seen him, because Batman refuses to believe Talia's claims without a blood test, and she hasn't complied yet)
One of the questions that was asked by fans as soon as it debuted is "How can Terry fit into this?" There were no hints about who his mother was, until sometime later in the story entitled "Rivalry" about the JLA's "Hero and Sidekick" Sports Day, which is a spectator sport like no other (Even the villains, book the next field and come along just to watch the team tear themselves apart as only school sports event can). At one point in the story, left alone when Alfred falls asleep (And realising that neither Power Girl nor Liberty Belle are his "Ma-ma!", Terry goes for a wander...

And ends up just where he SHOULDN'T be...

And the question is finally answered...

I have to say that that remains one of my all time favourite pages of comic book art, and I mean that quite seriously, the emotion in those last panels kills me every single time...
She returns him to his playpen safely without anyone seeing her, or realising he'd been gone...
And of course, that then sparked the question as to how Terry ended up with Bruce, a question that wouldn't be answered for some time, in this little gem...

I could post many, many other examples of Batman and Sons 'Stories that make me go "Awwww!"' but I'll leave you to find those for yourself at her DA page.
