Date: 2013-01-02 10:31 am (UTC)I can't think of many scenes with the Doctor and Rory and NO Amy (other than it being used as a plot point "A Good Man Goes to War", "The Girl Who Waited") after their first rather tetchy meetings in "The Eleventh Hour" and "Vampires of Venice".
So the Doctor and Rory just hanging out together sans Amy certainly has scope for good stories IMHO.
