Well, I'm not following the story so I can't comment on the writing, but the art is gorgeous!

Yeah--I like Lee, but holy SHIT does this feel like a step-up.

Really enjoyed this issue--the threat with Atlantis got raised pretty well, and we're starting to see more interesting stuff to come with Cyborg, since it looks like he's going to be leading a group of new Leaguers to save the Trinity.

Also, I have a feeling that this story is going to be introducing Arthur's old partners in the Ridge team that went after Dr. Shin.

It's nice to see Diana actually using her lasso in the Nu!52 for once, but that line about the Amazons is super weird. I'm assuming she's saying this invasion is wrong regardless of who it is doing the invading, but it could have been constructed better IMHO.

She's saying that if an army is advancing on an innocent city, she'd side with the city, even if it were her own people doing the advancing.

I get that, but it reads "...I'd be fighting Amazons, instead of fighting my friends." It kind of sounds like she doesn't give a fuck about the Amazons the way it's written, which I'm sure wasn't the intention. I dunno, it just came across weird to me.

Given what's happened in her own book, WW isn't too happy with the Amazons right now, and I'm not sure she would call any of them friends.

Some of them could be. Amazons can rape.

Honestly considering her ethics, and theirs, it's an understatement. One hardly needs a *moral quandary* involving one's friends to fight Amazons, they're really evil.

It's not a comparable situation to fighting Atlanteans.

Doesn't this take place before current WW storyline?

Amazons invading the United States? That's a stupid idea for a story. >_>

You know what'd be even more stupid? If they used weaponized bees. Some kind of deadly bee weapon. Bees...

Is it me, or is Superman once again the main villain's punching bag like in the first season of Justice League (the TV series)? I'm serious, first it was Wonder Woman, then the Cheetah, then Vulko, and now Aquaman (who is one of my new found favorite heroes so don't get me wrong)! I feel like Geoff Johns keeps having people punch Superman to show how "powerful" they are, which is fine and all, but it makes Superman look incredibly weak! When the man is able to push and destroy planets the size of Earth, has heat vision that reaches temperatures hotter than the sun, and survive supernovas; it kind of looks ridiculous how he keeps being punched around so easily. Sorry about the rant, it's just that Superman is my favorite superhero (and character) in all of a fiction.
