The cover to Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye #13 has been released

I'm not sure WHAT is going on here, but it looks cool, doesn't it? :)

Shades of the G1 cartoon "Only Human", and the Transformers: Animated episodes "Human Error 1 and 2", perhaps? :)

I'm guessing that's Swerve with the surfboard, Ultra Magnus in the suit, not sure who the female is as Arcee isn't in this title, Chromedome with the cane, and Rewind with the camera

The girl's probably Verity Carlo. That's the outfit she was wearing in the first issue of Last Stand of the Wreckers.

If I had to guess, I'd say she's back in space and she brought friends.

The girl is Verity Carlo, one of the recurring humans from the IDW TF series. She got those arm thingies (and the rest of the outfit) in Last Stand of the Wreckers. Wherein the artist drew amazing 'bots, but made Verity look absolutely frightening.

I'm willing to wager the rest are actual humans, as well.

Hmm...OTOH, some of the people in the comments are talking about them being holo-avatars (which they used in the '-ation's) of the 'bots.

Assuming they're correct - and making the further assumption that they're the avatars of the 'bots present (a safe assumption, since they couldn't project the avatars that far from their bodies before), my guesses...

I agree with you on Swerve and Rewind. 'Verity' would have to be Magnus*, being the only one to have met her. And the guy with the cane looks very Rungy. That leaves the guy in the suit for...whoever the heck that is leaning on the barrier.

* Not unprecedented for a bot-who-isn't-Arcee to have a female avatar. Bumblebee's avatar was a girl, too.

Given the pose and history, I would agree Ultra Magnus is presenting as Verity (which would be really cute if so, given LSotW).

Looks like grey-suit is supposed to be Skids (matches the robot in the background, and the nose seems familiar?)

But anyways, <4 Ugh this cover and the Cyclonus + minibots cover, I can't choose.

MTMTE writer James Roberts has confirmed, on his Twitter, this is the "holo-avatar cover" to issue #13. So that'd be the holographic projections of the TFs (Magnus in suit, Swerve with surfboard) hanging with the real Verity Carlo (or, as punchdrunkard says, Magnus has chosen to base his avatar on Verity. I can imagine the Big Bot doing that).

Umm... is anyone else concerned that Swerve looks so much like Gen13's Grunge? 0.0
