The thing that makes me happy about ghost-popcorn is the realisation that I'd have to scoff all the popcorn first.

You would think that Peter would be at least a little conflicted--while they might worry about other influences, right now, as best they can tell, Peter Parker's gone off the deep end in their eyes.

Anyway, if they dumped this book in favor of a Cardiac on-going, I might not object to that.

Definitely looks like things are coming to a head. Issue 9 looks to be the big Peter-Otto battle for control, so I'm kind of excited going forward.

Given how they're promising to piss off fans more than #700 I wouldn't be surprised if Ock banishes Pete from his body or takes complete control. But we'll see.

Just noticed Thor has a randomly occurring beard on the cover and isn't in his latest costume. I mean I like the beard, and Thor's previous costume is good, but it's a definite hiccup from Ramos on the art.

Regardless of how the fight ends....am I the only one who kind of really want to see Ock!Spidey get some decently beatdown in on Logan? I love Logan and all...but sometimes....he just needs the "I'm a gruff badass and can tell off everybody" kicked out of him a tad. =P

I feel the exact same way. Logan may be great, but you just, kinda wish you could beat him within an inch of his life, let him heal, then do it again a couple of times.

This art is kind to no one, but somehow Black Widow looks _especially_ ridiculous. And a bit like Kim Possible, actually.

The art is getting worse, honestly. Cap looks like a Cyborg Gorilla, Thor looks like his face is made of squares, Logan looks like a wolfman that had his face flattened against a brick wall, and the girls look like their last meal was a couple of bread sticks when they were twelve. I'd say they're so thin you can see their ribcage, but it honestly doesn't look like they even HAVE a ribcage.
