Oh I'm guessing that's Thor all right, but it's not Thor from the present, it's Thor from the past, before he ever arrived on Midgard in ther 20th Century.

I've been enjoying it, but I was pretty underwhelmed when the resolution to the first arc was just a setup for the second, and dropped in in my latest pull list purge. I do enjoy the idea of Thor teaming up with his curmudgeonly future self though, so if the word on the second arc is positive I'll probably pick it all up in one feel swoop in a few months.

If he goes as Thor and 'drinks it dry' they might figure the amount he spends+ the prestige of having Thor there is worth setting aside a table for him.

I imagine that knowing that THOR is standing behind you in the line, tapping that great big hammer impatiently is a wonderful incentive to make your choice at the counter QUICKLY.

I can verify that people in general give you a very wide berth if you're carrying a big hammer in public. Which cracked me up when I experienced it, as it was Halloween and the hammer in question was actually PVC pipe with a styrofoam head - about as dangerous as a rolled-up newspaper.

turtlefu's Betsy Braddock icon might be pretty wicked in its grimace, but I'd say the cover Hulk has the worst "Mighty Poo" face I've seen in a long while.

Probably appropriate though. I'd imagine trying to lift Mjolnir is about as close as the Hulk ever gets to giving himself a hernia.
