Trinity War Details Revealed

According to DC newspaper, the Justice League, Justice League Dark, and Justice League America are going to nuke it out because a superhero died...again. That's pretty much the basic reason for this all-out war.

Oh, and the Trinity of Sin is going to play a role in here too.

Sounds awesome! I also love the fact that there are three different ongoing in continuity Justice League titles. I think that that is the most we have ever had. Plus John Constantine joining the pantheon of DC characters is wonderful after he was sidelined for 20 years.

At one time, there was Justice League America, Justice League Europe, Justice League Task Force, Extreme Justice, and Justice League Quarterly. That last one was, obviously, quarterly, not monthly, but that was five league titles at once, which I think is the record.

As terrible as this whole thing sounds, I like that DC's only making it 6 issues over 2 months, Marvel would be dragging this out for at least half a year and I think DC's mini crossovers are a much better format.

On the negative front though; Wonder Woman's pose there is terrible, making the Question a member of the "Tinity of Sin" was a dumb idea that's left the character completely disconnected from previous versions (I'm baffled as to why they didn't just go with the Rorschach-inspired conspiracy theorist from JLU) and I feel like this kind of hero vs hero scenario is more in line with Marvel, I wish DC would embrace their own identity.

I wonder who the killed off hero will be, I don't see anyone missing from that splash page. It'd be cool if Robin's death was the impetus for this event though, the death of a child due to another hero's negligence seems like the sort of thing that could actually warrant this kind of reaction.

Josh Fialkov preemptively resigned from Green Lantern Corps and Red Lanterns because he didn't want to follow DC's orders to kill off John Stewart.

Maybe it's related?

I think they gave up on Mosaic around the time they decided John's only character trait was "I'm a Marine and I use my ring to make guns and things because I'm a Marine, oo-rah, did I mention I'm a Marine?

Yeah, I noticed him too. I didn't think anything of it, but he's the only villain on the page. So... I have no clue. I don't see him being the epicenter for inter-hero battle royale.
