...who else is waiting for the reveal that Darkseid's spirit survived the events of Final Crisis, gained fourth wall awareness, influenced Netherealm Studios into making this game, and the proceeded to possess and corrupt this universe as one massive "FUCK YOU!" to those who believed in his enemies.

Because my tolerance is starting to wane, and unless they pull a Parallax, I can definitely see why Clark is going into the latter portion of Black and Grey Morality.

That doesn't sound like Darkseid. Too petty. It'd be more his style to locate this universe, then hover around its' periphery, monologuing about how he expected everything to be terrible and this just proves how right he is about the grim nature of the universe, etc., etc.

Ironically...

Looking at the narration, he didn't know the guy couldn't take take being hit, and after the punches had connected... well, too late.

After he failed to do much of anything to evacuate Metropolis or find Joker's nuke before it went off, he probably figured, what's one more?

Because that would mean going aganst people, who have been his friends for years. Also, he was propably suprised they would do something like that.

So why did they feel the need to cripple him? Or for that matter disperse what appears to be a relatively peaceful protest?

Oh wait, they're evil now since superheroes can't distinguish between being passive or extremely aggressive.

Pretty much. Or let someone die. Or not bothering to save a villain. Or something.

It is sometimes hard to tell what Jean-Paul Valley as Batman did that was so awful compared to the things Bruce Wayne would do as Batman. And Jean-Paul at least had The System in his head driving him nuts.

More "Deciding that because you think you have been hurt and decided that you can run the world better, and are stronger than anyone, that you can do so, and sod the law and the wishes of anyone else in the planet, and heaven help anyone who dares to disagree with you." is The Dark Side.

Because people being angry/sad/hurt over something is something you enjoy? Yeah yeah, I know it's fictional. It's not like fiction has ever influenced reality or we have ever cared for fictional characters, right?

Or is there another reason you look for negative comments?

I didn't really feel like this guy was on the side of right here... i mean just shooting off his lazer blast thing like that. It doesn't really say "It's not right to bully others with violence". This could even count as self defense?

Galaxor showed up to plead with two foreign nationals intervening in a foreign countries domestic situation in a grotesquely over-violent manner.

Wonder Woman and Superman have no right to intervene as they did, and have absolutely no right to claim self-defence.

That Superman and Wonder Woman might come to their senses when faced with another hero, since they are, after all, breaking several international laws in what they were doing.

I feel as if DC editorial brought back Barry Allen specifically because they hate him and want everyone else to hate him as much as they do. He's been portrayed pretty much across the board as either a bland cardboard cut-out personality or, as here, an unlikeable cretin.

I managed to see some uploaded videos from the game endings before they were taken down. Based on what I saw, it gets way darker than this and those on Regime side aren't too remorseful for what they done. My English vocabulary isn't built up enough to describe.

Why couldn't the game story be "Mr. Terrific builds holograph fighter for the heroes to play with and who ever character wins in the game gets an all expenses around world vacation paid for by Bruce Wayne"? That way heroes are "fighting" but no need for grim dark story.

I guess it is too much to ask from a studio that makes Mortal Kombat.
