This is from a 1945 comic called the "Icebox Robber". In his sleep, Donald Duck is raiding the icebox and thinks that his nephews are doing it. In order to wake him up, they use firecrackers which inadvertently trigger Donald Duck's World War II flashbacks.

Ironically, they were sent to stay with him following an incident where they put firecrackers under their (never named) father's chair, so it's sort of a trend.

Interestingly, as pointed out by Cracked.com in a recent article
here, this story was very similar to another Donald Duck story from before the war, except, in that one, Donald's response to finding food missing from his refrigerator was much more reasonable. So the evidence seems to suggest very strongly that Donald really does have PTSD from his service in the Pacific during the War.

I saw this on Cracked.Com Many cartoons and comics were racist back then,, like Superman's Slap a Jap and Wonder Woman dragging Japanese soldiers around while making jokes.
Oh and don't forget Scrooge McDuck wiping out an entire tribe to make a profit with their land.
