I know that this isn't a Superman comic, but right now, I'm kind of hoping that this would lead to a fight between Superman and Mr. Majestic. Also, can anyone tell me whether this series is good or not? Wasn't too interested in it until I saw Mr. Majestic, he's the kind of character that I have been wanting to get into.

Gamorra exists in the DCU now? Interesting, but more interesting is that he seems to look MORE like a 90s character now than when he was initially created... back in the 90s.

Seriously, I know that he's effectively a South East Asian version of Dr Doom in some respects, but why actually dress him as one? There is such a thing as subtly.

He's really more your classic comic-book version of Fu Manchu (see also: the Mandarin, the Yellow Claw, the actual comic book version of Fu Manchu (both of them), etc.), and frankly I'm not crazy to see someone revive the Yellow Peril. (I'd make an exception for Ellis and Hitch's first Authority arc, because it killed the character off and besides was fun ("I love being me").)

Oh, man, Kaizen Gamorra is not having fun at all.

My only prior experience with Kaizen Gamorra is when he was busy carving his initials into the planet with superhuman mass murder in the first volume of The Authority.

With that as a baseline, dropping a tsunami on his ass isn't much of an overreaction...

I'm still sitting at that point where "How many times can millions of people on Earth die" before we get some serious side effects. And major repercussions to heroes/villains in the process.
