I'd love to see more of the friendship between Carol Danvers and Jessica Drew. I've read the Avengers Annual where Jessica and Carol meet after Jess saves her and the recent volume of Ms. Marvel but I'd love to see more.

I'm re-reading Bendis's Avengers saga and there are a lot of good little moments between them, but I haven't really found anything to justify a whole post.

I basically have the same problem. I've read the first issue they meet and now the recent stuff when they are BFFs but I'd want to know how the relationship developed. I fear it was just hand-waved into being though.

Sort of? I know Jessica was hanging out at Xavier's while Carol was recovering and Xavier talked about how she "gave unstintingly" of herself. (It seems a bit random but old issues of Uncanny X-Men are the place to check on Carol's recovery. And there's some Jessica there. I don't recall how much interaction they actually had on panel.)

But then this is Chris Claremont we are talking about. (Edit: For some context, he had written the solo adventures of both Carol and Jessica's old titles. He was pretty horrified with what they did to Carol in Avengers #200.)

I used to read Spider-Woman but never read Carol's book back then.

I think Bendis did his Bendis-y thang and just decided they were BFFL, like what he did with Jessica Jones and Carol. I don't think the relationship actually developed, I think it was just: Carol knows everybody, Jess and her are tough chicks, together? Best of friends!

Man I would kill for a Marvel Birds of Prey with Carol, Jessica Drew, Jess Jones, Bobbi (?), Natasha (?), and Janet.

It's really more Bendis picking up where Claremont had said they were back in the day. I don't recall how much panel time we saw between Carol and Jessica. But I do remember Xavier saying how close they were in the issue where Carol tells the Avengers off for the way they acted in Avengers #200.

If Bendis forgot anything regarding Carol's female friends, it's that Carol and Mary Jane Watson used to be friends (but NOBODY at Marvel remembers that).

Interesting--especially since Carol and Spidey's had a kinda-sorta thing during Brian Reed's Ms. Marvel run. Any chance of posting any of that?

This would rock! Though they did sort of have it with Heroes For Hire v2 and they might be doing it with Fearless Defenders, though I don't see much in the way of the friendship Dinah and Babs had with Fearless...yet.

I'd love it if someone could post some Doom 2099 scans- I've heard good things about the series, but I'm not sure I've ever read any of it.

D-List Avengers Justice League Members. There are so many characters that only had limited runs in these teams (think Firebird or Tomorrow Woman) and I would love people to introduce me to their favorites.

Based on the above conversation, I want my request to be the women of Marvel being friends. I would say "female friendships" in general, but then I think it would just be 20 posts of Babs and Dinah making gooey eyes at each other.

I've been looking around at stories that feature Jason Todd before he was resurrected, and one miniseries that piqued my interestwas Deadman: Dead Again. A dark wizard called Darius Caldera is capturing the souls of heroes, such as Jason Todd, Superman, and Barry Allen. Sounds like a wicked mini-series (pun intended).

I'm also interested in the scene in Nightwing's series where he apparently hallucinates Jason Todd talking to him.

I'm on a Jason Todd binge okay, don't judge me >:(

How about some post-Moore and Pre-Moore Swamp Thing? Yes, I know, nobody likes Swampy before Moore star writing him, but atleast some stories were interesting, fro I've been told.

Oh, I heard there was a sub-plot in Spider-man books fro early 90's, where Peter was trying to get MJ to stop smoking. If anyone knows where it's from, please post it.

EDIT: Do these requests include manga? If so, can someone post something upliftingly feminist/not sexist? I know, I'm not asking anything easy, but it does exist. Somewhere.
