A news station in Gotham City talks about Superman killing the Joker and many residents in Gotham in a poll agrees with his actions. But Superman and Wonder Woman recent actions in Australia have the repercussions of turning public opinion against him a little.

The news station was suppose to interview a vocal expert who's a opponent of superman actions. But Two-face kills him and takes the station hostage. Superman was passing along going to the bat-cave to talk with Batman and stops the hostage situation.






Superman's decided it's time for a more permanent solution for Arkham Asylum because villains Batman put away many times, seems to always get back on the street and commit their evil deeds again. But the Dark Knight is not pleased with this incursion on his domain.

Damian disagree with Bruce that Superman needs to be stop and agrees with the man of steel that drastic actions need to be taken to the criminals at Arkham Asylum. So Batman having no time to argue with Damian leaves him at the bat-cave.

Minor thing, but why does Damian's costume have the R on the right hand side? It's always been on the lefthand side.

Obviously, the R stands for Right. He used to have an L on his left side but he tore it off because Damian is never wrong.

Because this isn't the main Universe. So beat the game and I have to say if the main gimmick of the story was revealed in marketing than this comic and the game might go better with Naysayers.

Interesting, they seem to be going with the Arkhamverse design of Calender Man, Two-Face and Killer Croc.

Can't really say I blame them, their designs are generally better than a lot of what DC's had recently.

Seriously - why is Batman so shocked that Damien of all people would join with the side that actually wants to take the bad guys out? Disappointed, sure. But "my mask changed shape" stunned?

Because he, and Dick, would have hoped that he'd learned and grown since they took him in, not revert back to "Killing criminals is fine" mode.

It's funny, because the game's pretty much out now and there's video walkthroughs of it, I do know where this story is going now, and with this, it certainly fills a bit of dread now...:O

The first few pages are Batman's inner-monologue, and reveals that this is all a flashback to the events leading up to the death of one of his sons, conveniently not showing which one it is.

It's annoying that the twist was leaked, and that the game is actually out before the death. Completely took all suspense out of the "my son is dead" cliffhanger, since anyone who plays the game knows which one it is.

Damian's design in the game is hilarious when you realize that the hoodie he seems to be wearing is in fact his hair.

Again....I don't see the problem here. Arkham's long-standing revolving-door policy is so laughable that it's a wonder people try to keep them there at all. "Treatment"? Out of the number of Batman's rogues that have been put there, what ratio are the ones that have actually successfully been rehabilitated and had it stick?

Sorry Bruce. This is a long time coming and you're too close to your rogues to actually see what needs to be done with a good handful of them. And have they actually said they're killing the Arkham inmates, or just locking them up and throwing away the key? I'm so very for the latter.

What you do is take an uninhabited (but liveable) planet/asteroid/whatever, gather up all the villains who aren't super-geniuses like Luthor or whatever, drop 'em off there and tell 'em "It's yours, go nuts...er...nuts-er!" and put up beacons to warn others away/alert the spacefaring good guys if anyone approaches. The end.

Seriously, this is WELL within Supes' powers, and produces better results than anything Arkham's managed. Heck, some of 'em might actually like it.

Well I am sure most people saw the leaked storyline mode now.
To be honest, killling bad guys who have had chance after chance isn't a bad thing.
But when Supes started killing others who aren't bad guys...
I want to know how the author sets it up that Supes thinks it's okay to go after the good guys and normal people.

Actually his cape having some degree of padding in it, for impact protection if nothing else, makes some sense to me.

You know, it's kind of sad that, of the 'Trinity', Diana actually originally had a Rehab Facility (Transformation Island IIRC), rather than a holding facility, and it made her unique. It's too bad they tossed that part of her mythos.

Oh man, most delicious twist ever. I'm looking forward to see how that storymode will play out in the game.

Thing is, I wonder what Team Injustice are going to do with the Arkham inmates that are actually sick. People like Joker and Zsasz? Throw them into the sun. But people like the Riddler or the Ventriloquist or the Mad Hatter? Those people are actually mentally unwell and need treatment.

That's why this is a second instance of Superman crossing the line; he's clearly saying that if you terrorise people you deserve nothing, even if it wasn't your damn fault because you're mentally unwell.

And hell, what about the patients who aren't crazy but can only be held at Arkham? Killer Croc, Bane, and Ra's Al Ghul aren't insane, but they've been held there because no other jail can hold them. Is Superman even bothering to make that distinction?

Ra's was never there as Ra's, he was held there under another name and drugged to the gills, but was only in Arkham because it was the last place Bruce though anyone would look for him.

the writer said "lots more" on his twitter when people asked. I haven't seen definite numbers.

I am wondering if they are going to just go right to the end of the game's story mode or just right before the game starts/when the comic started.
