Dude was a surgeon. It makes sense to me.

Surgeons can be dicks. Strange could fix Doom's face. Doom doesn't want his face fixed. Strange deals in the arcane and is probably one of the few men alive with nothing to fear from Doom in that department.

But you've got a cocky surgeon (probably a former plastic surgeon at some point) with a real M.D. dealing with a scarred guy who insists on staying scarred who dropped out of grad school and probably had the University of Latveria award him a doctorate at gunpoint. I think Doom should really get under Strange's skin and vice versa.

I was under the impression that it was a point of pride with Inhumans not to circumvent the effects of their powers in any way. Otherwise, Black Bolt would just write shit down, and the intense rapport he has with Medusa would be extraneous.
