Superman sounds too much like Spider-Man in my opinion. If he were written correctly this could have been more entertaining. Also, did Superman just kill?! Or was the beast not considering living, despite having a heart!
Except that both "robot" and "zombie" imply a mindless automaton, whereas from what I can see in these scans (I haven't read the book, and given that it's Superman, I never will) Lexus appears to be intelligent and self-aware.
A long time ago Lexus used to be a prince and was princess Lourdes( The alien woman that superman took the sword from) brother. He wanted to take over as king and overthrown their father.
There was a long war and the king finally was able to kill his son. But the son was able to be saved himself from not being kill for a few seconds and use his magic to ceate a horcrux to store part of a soul in his heart. Then use the broken machinery around the battlefield as a new body.
there's bits and pieces of stuff i like. the "oh, magic." *fall* for instance.
question though. what's the difference between a saying and a quote? in my opinion a Quote can become a saying if it is commonly used where as a Quote isn't....?
(The idea being that a local in a small monastery in a far away land saw how often travellers came from hundreds of miles awayto learn from them with the assumption that whatever it is must be wisdom, so he sort of reversed engineered the approach and followed them home, to seek wisdom where they came from (Which was just as far away from him point of view). He ended up taking lodging with Mrs Cosmopolite and he found her utterances to be koan in their own right.)
Unpopular opinion but i'm really enjoying Lobdell's superman run thus far, even re-picked up Action Comics for him. Its so werid that his superman and Red Hood Runs were really fun, but his titans run died somewhere during the culling arc.

Is this better? I hope it is. :)
