In my headcanon, Alfred never took the pill because he never needed it, he just palmed it and unleashed his ability to turn awesomeness into pure raw physical strength. In fact, he had to hold back when punching Superman for fear of splitting the Earth itself.

Is that supposed to be Damian as Robin in with Superman there, or Tim? Because I cannot see Tim ever siding with anyone (Except possibly Dick if there was good reason, and perhaps not even then) against Batman.

Based on the story in the game, I believe that is suppose to be Damian who will eventually become Nightwing.

Would you like me to start on the number of super-power inducing chemicals in the DCU? Everything from Perry White's super-cigars, to the various methods Superman used to give Lois powers over the years, to Miraclo pills and so on...

Fantastic. Goofy as hell, and incredibly unexpected from this series, but fantastic nonetheless.

Kind of surprised Alfred didn't just kill Superman though. I mean I know he couldn't because the events of the game demand that Superman be alive, but what reason did the character have? Super-Alfred kicking EvilFascist!Superman to death is everything I can out of this series.

I can't believe this is over....once I got over my initial outrage at how terrible it is, it really surprised me how much I was looking forward to seeing how much worse it could become.

I suspect that the writer secretly hates the plot of the story, and is just taking a "what the hell, just try to make 'em laugh" approach to it. Kinda like the Kyle Rayner scene towards the end of Countdown.

I can't decide what I like better-- Alfred slamming Superman into the ground or Alfred carrying injured Batman away princess style while casually adding insult to Superman's injury.

It's the latter for me. Anyone can take a super-pill and beat up Superman (apparently?) but for that combination of nurture and cutting remarks? Alfred all the way!
