Wraith: Welcome to Christmasland #1
Nov. 14th, 2013 05:09 pm
For those who don't know, Wraith is a prequel to Joe Hill's (of Locke & Key) novel NOS4A2 although you don't need to read it to understand this.
It was pretty hard for me to select four (or seven for that matter) pages that would't need me to recap the entire issue so I decided to post the first four pages and if you're interested you can check out the full thing yourself.

Back, and to the right.
PS: I don't care if it's a Magic Tyre or not, that still shouldn't happen!

Date: 2013-11-17 08:29 pm (UTC)Yes, but it's created from his mind and not a physical location.
Basically he believes that he's 'rescuing' the children from the miseries of adulthood because at Christmasland they're young forever and can celebrate Christmas everyday.
The car that he's in (the Wraith) drains them of their 'unhappiness' so they're always happy and restores his youth in the process. But in doing so they turn into monsters whose idea of fun is hurting people.
