Injustice Annual #1, and other I:GAU news.

 Ok, Injustice came to the conclusion of it's first run with #36, but starting January there will be more.  Probably another 'season' for lack of a better phrase. In November the annual came out, and I'm posting 4 pages from it here today.  It's still too 'recent' for the other 5 that the page count allows.  









Harley, you are AWESOME in this! 

What's happened here is that Lobo decided to pay Earth a visit, looking for Superman.  There was a contract put out on him for doing bad things to a God.  He shows up in metropolis to start tearing up the place, then notices somebody beat him to it.  After a 'conversation' with Superman, he takes a job to locate and bring in Harley Quinn for him.  His payment, one of the Superpills that Lex has been developing.  (Lex tells Superman that it most likely wouldn't do anything to someone with abilities like Lobo already has.)  Here's what happens just a little while later.












It gets interesting after this...

One last thing before I jet out the door for work, the article where it's stated I:GAU is coming back for more.

Also, stil finding it impossible to get behind this version of Harley Quinn given the whole "accomplice to the mass murder of an major city" thing. Every time she gets treated as the same old harmless weirdo I get annoyed, it's inconsistent writing.

I'm thinking he was likely planning to go somewhere appropriate first. Like, say, swallow it in front of Superman so the fragger will appreciate how badly his ass is about to get kicked.

And yeah, while this is good Harley writing, the whole "random mass child murder" thing is kind of a deal-breaker.

Given his own power levels, would he actually need it? It's also possible the effects are temporary (on him at least), so why waste it when he's not actaully punching Superman.

I'm sold on this take on Lobo purely for the line about moustaches. Also, fuck you spellchecker, I'm British and I know there's an 'O' in there.
