Date: 2014-01-17 12:42 pm (UTC)I'd place Land (when he's not ripping off other artists or tracing porn stars and WWE wrestlers) firmly in the middle rank of comic-book artists - I'd never buy a book just for his art, but it doesn't put me off buying books, either (unlike Ramos's, for example). His work isn't *great*, and some of the faces in the above panels look a bit weird, but it's clean, the anatomy is decent, and it doesn't get in the way of the story (again, unlike Ramos's - his characters are distractingly ugly). That's as much as I expect from most comic-book artists.
