At first glance and because of the purple I thought Babs was some sorta joker/harlequin/jokers daughter/prankster or whatever forgetting than in Smallville she's Nightwing.
Also forgot that Smallville!Batman has weird speech bubbles.
I've got to admit, this is something I'm intrigued by. Though it is surprising that (to my knowledge, anyway) someone hasn't explored this 'what-if' scenario sooner. Now I want to see this guy's archenemy as well, maybe a sort of 'Clown Knight', if you will.
During Countdown on Earth 3 Jackie 'The Jokster' (Last name possibly Dent) became a hero while Owlman was the villain and during the Flashpoint mess Thomas Wayne became Batman and Martha Wayne became the Joker. This could be quite interesting: Bruce Wayne vs Bruce Wayne. An opponent that could actually be an equal match for him.
Actually that was covered in the Batman, the Brave and the Bold cartoon, where Batman heads to the mirror universe and takes on the evil Justice League counterparts with the aide of the Red Hood, who fell in the chemicals same as the normal Red Hood to become the Joker, but unlike Joker didn't go completely insane (There's a great flashback scene where Hood see's his face post chemical dip, starts giggling insanely at his reflection.... then stops himself from laughing and smashes the mirror in anger.)
'Yes, they're part of the same multiverse (because there's no real reason for them to be otherwise), but yes, they don't actually connect in any meaningful way (any more than any of them do to any of the multitudes of universes we haven't seen), and probably will never crossover (unless sales of Smallville really tank and the PTB bother trying to save it).'
What other Batman villains have been Batman in parallel Earths? I know Joker has, and I think Catwoman was in some Jim Balent comic, and Two-Face was briefly in the newspaper run. Are there any others?
