An abandoned diner in the middle of nowhere.







The Leader is sent to get the base's old gamma reactor back up and running, while the rest convene for a meeting.

EDIT: because he describes it as a novelty song and not a parody song.

As for the third song, the only band name that really stands out to me is the Butthole Surfers.

I'm not sure Thaddeus Ross would pay much attention to the difference between a novelty song about surgeons and a padory song about surgeons.

Though that IS one hell of a song there...

What kind of terms is Elektra on with the Hand these days? You'd think they'd have more reliable access to Hell with their resurrection magic and Japanese demons.

You never know who's side the Hellstorms are on this week.

That's not really the case. They're always on the opposite side of Daimon's daddy. It's just that they're also on the opposite side of the guy upstairs (but then in their corner of Marvel "the guy upstairs" is an even bigger bastard than the competition).

I laughed at Ross' comment about bringing in an expert. Any of whom would likely have told them just how bad an idea this is. (Though given his current snarky characterization in Mighty Avengers Kaluu probably would have helped them just to enjoy seeing the consequences from the sidelines...)

Is that the mark that Damion Hellstorm gave Red Hulk in the circle of four cross over? I'm amazed they remembered that.

There's some interesting implications for everyone who got marked in that, considering what the nature of that mark was in Venom.

I like that Leader, a super smart mad scientist character not only acknowledged that magic is real in the MU but actually formed a plan around it.
