Also, is this the same Ghost Rider running around in Thunderbolts right now? Or are there two Ghost Riders? I mean, I know there have been multiple Ghost Riders, but I don't know about at the same time.

There's two separate Ghost Riders, the one in Thunderbolts is Johnny Blaze while the one in All New Ghost Rider is Robbie Reyes.

I know he's a completely different character, but the new Ghost Rider being named "Robby Reyes" kind of makes it seem like he was named by someone trying to say "Johnny Blaze" with a pretty severe speech impediment. Or just black out drunk.

I can't even remember the last time he was supposed to be dead... There was Heaven's On Fire a while back, then Alejandra's (ill-fated) series bypassed him entirely in favor of Blaze mentoring her.

Kale has been notably absent from the recent hellish heirarchical hooplah. Your guess is as good as mine.

There was a mention in a Spider-Man issue he guest starred after his series had ended that the whole Noble Kale thing was just Mephisto messing with him. Though they've since published the previously unpublished last issue and it didn't mention anything towards that revelation, so who the heck knows. I sure don't.

Kale also showed up in the werewolf by night mini as Ruler of Hell so who knows with Marvel.

ETA: Did a bit of googling and apparantly Kale was kicked out of hell, remerged with Ketch, Exorcised from Ketch (who then got another Ghost Rider after he regretted it) and is currently MIA in the Marvel universe.

I haven't read this issue yet, but I like what I've seen from this title so far. Just really hope the story picks up soon, because it hasn't hooked me so far.

I think his feet are actually twisted around 180 degrees from where they're supposed to be pointing. :/ Not rotated around like your toes are pointed backwards, more like the soles and tops of his feet are inverted.

Anyone else still slight confused as to why someone who has a car is called the Ghost Rider? They'd be the Ghost Driver. wouldn't they?

Eh, there's precedent, sort of. David Hasselhoff was the Knight Rider, although admittedly his car was capable of self driving. The hooligan in the beginning of Mad Max was the Nightrider, and was in a tricked out car, although he was also maybe part of a motorcycle gang sometimes? At least the motorcycle gang thought he was pretty cool.

I guess more to the point, you could argue that it doesn't matter what the vehicle is- it's the human whose playing host to a vengeance demon (or angel, or whatever Ghost Rider is now) that's being ridden.
