I have to admit that I'm impressed that Lois figured out Tim's secret identity so fast.

Huh, Tim should grow out the beard a bit more. It feels like they just drew a smooth face then added the beard on post. Still, I want to see how this goes.

He dreamed about a life after sidekicking, right? Literally a couple of universes ago.

Yeah, he was originally shown as seeing Robin as a short term gig, he didn't want to grow up to be a hero like Dick did, he wanted to be Robin for as long as he could serve that role usefully (eg before he got too old/cynical/dead) and then go back to being Tim Drake.

Based on his statements in the first issue he definitely didn't get out before he got too cynical this time around.

I've always liked that about Tim. He wanted to see his time as Robin/Red Robin as something he could look back on, the implication being that he was able to put it behind him.

obsidianwolf was right, though - seems like time got the better of this particular Red Robin.

So, wait, what happened to the titans? Are they believed dead too, or just Tim?

Apparently they are all dead and Tim faked his death but some one knows because they led Lois there.

In the newest issue we find out a bit more he's going by Cal Corcoran and claims to have been injured by a drunk driver. It is also made clear wile talking with his significant other a red headed woman named Madison that he never visits Gotham and doesn't have anyone he considers family or friends in the city.

So rather than killing off one or two titans for an event like usual, they killed the whole team? Classy.

Look on the bright side with them dead in the war we probably won't get any Black Canary head moments with them.

In the other issue of Future's End we saw Bunker at Oliver Queens funeral. So not all of the Titans are dead.

Just most.

Yeah any who got out before the event that killed them are probably still around. At least until every in this future dies and someone time travels back to the regular nu DCU and averts things or causes a soft reboot if it is time for one.

Bunker decided to join the Suicide Squad. They have a higher survival rate than the Titans.

How old is Tim supposed to be in the current reboot? He's not a character I would have envisioned Tyler Hoechlin playing a film version of.

(Seriously, my first thought upon seeing the fourth page was "What's Derek Hale from Teen Wolf doing in a DC comic?")

I don't think they've given Tim's age in the Nu52. He's considered a teenager but probably no younger than 16 since he's working as a Bartender so he's got to be at least 21 after this five year time skip. He looked quiet a bit older than just 21 to me though.

Wait, there's a time-skip? For this event or for all the comics?

This Event deals with two futures. One 30+ years in the future where Brother Eye Rules the world with Terminator versions of the DCU Heroes and Batman (Bruce) was planning to go back in time and kill someone to stop it from happening. However, everything went wrong and Terry had to go instead but the time jump didn't go far enough. He ended up five years into the future of the Nu52. At some point Earth 2 was destroyed in this future and the survivors fled to Nu52 Earth followed by a massive Invasion.

Mr. Terrific in the JSA had great characterization. In the Nu52 it has been constant suck.

How the hell does an Earth accept billions of refugees from another planet?

The answer is simple the invasion that we haven't seen was so bad that it made plenty of room. We should just ignore the fact that the world is appearance wise back to normal following such a major shake up and not ask any questions.
