I have to say I find this art.... really really... not good. It's like an amateur who's been reading a lot of Kirby and trying to mimic it.

I appreciate it's conscious choice on the part of the artist, but it just makes me think of bad fanzines.

On the one hand, the Kirby aesthetic's really a nice spin on a concept we've seen done once and again.

On the other hand, I'm kind of disappointed Kirby!Cobra isn't Kobra-tastic.

(On the dreihander, Straxus is so hilariously mopey in that next-to-last page- he's like, " Lord Megatron, will I ever get to axe someone? ")
