'In fact I remember when the Wolverine title first started decades ago, being in a comic shop and going "How on earth are they going to make that work?" Because he was the classic cool guy at the edge of the team that says one thing every few panels. Putting him at the centre of a book really didn’t seem to make much sense. I think this is a problem that lots of people have found. So I’ve sort of broken down that wall and got to the heart of him a bit.' -- Paul Cornell
Faiza heals him up, then slinks back into the shadows so as not to blow Logan's undercover nature. He resumes tracking down the mysterious sphere.
Wolverine and his friends figure out how to control the sphere, but not before it blabs in its translated, broken English that he's working undercover, that he hasn't really gone criminal:
He says that while he was undercover, and while there might be some truth in what she's saying about his motivation, he wasn't planning to get them arrested.

Date: 2014-07-05 06:23 pm (UTC)Also: Does Logan still have his enhanced strength and senses without the healing factor? If not, it sparks many a question about how he can move around at normal speeds with 300 lbs of metal on his frame without enhanced strength.

Date: 2014-07-08 07:36 am (UTC)It's interesting that they'd list Wolverine's strength under the same category. They never mention that in descriptions of his mutant powers. Maybe the idea was supposed to be that the Weapon X program altered him.
