Hey look, Hyperion didn't turn evil! I thought that was kind of his whole thing. This is nice though. I could do with more of Hyperion raising his zebra-kids and hanging out with Thor and occasionally kicking righteous ass. As much as Hickman's "big cosmic stuff, but not the big cosmic stuff that already existed, new, bigger cosmicer stuff," can get a little yawny, there have been some pretty cool character beats.

Right on. It's kind sad that I was THIS surprised he didn't turn bad- Marvel's had me primed for that sort of thing, I suppose.

Yes, I was so pleasantly surprised and the beginning of it read like he was hiding a turn to the dark side.

I'm not too surprised Hyperion didn't turn evil. Marvel already did "evil Superman" with the Sentry. Doing it again would be redundant.

But they had done it before with Hyperion. Repeatedly, I believe. Well, sometimes "Evil superman," sometimes "Easily mind controlled."
