That's "The Baby Killer" as in "the baby who kills," not "the guy who kills babies." Still a rather poor choice of name, and not acting very much like a 60 year old Polish general.

I was referring more to the 60 year old general side. If Mikhail was a little kid firing an M1911 two-handed with an M-16 slung over his shoulder, it would do a better job of selling him as the character they claim he is than jumping around firing dual Uzis.

Well Black Knight did call it a whole thing, so presumably it's not quite so straightforward as just literally jamming an old guy's brain in some unfortunate tot's hollowed out skull.

Marvel doesn't have problems with killing kids. As I remember it they killed a bunch of kids to set off their civil war. And then they come out with the Runaways and Young Avengers and people say "Yayyyyyy!" And how'd that work out for those kids? I see it with this new Ms. Marvel girl now. I'm not going to read it, but I periodically check to make sure she hasn't been shot or stabbed or Dr. Doom-energy-fisted or something. All this letting kids throw themselves at supervillains strongly implies all the adults in the Marvel universe are appaulingly incompetent.


Also, maybe the old guy was de-aged? One can hope, but even then.

I...don't really know what's going on with Morgan le Fay's dress there. I was thinking sheer panel in the front, but maybe it's just glued somehow. It's a good kind of spooky for a magic-user I guess.

Jessica's costume is not totally painted on, which is nice. I see Tiger's is, partly. ;P

I don't think Marvel's really pushing her as a major character, but she is in Mighty Avengers, where she's basically treated as the enormous powerhouse she rightfully should be.

She's been used more even since Nextwave- ironically mostly in a serious manner, guest-starring in Captain Marvel, and so on.

And she's definitely treated as a powerhouse. Energy blasts of any spectrum, high-speed flight, effective intangibility against physical attacks... not a super to mess with ^^
