To be honest, a bunch of lower tier super-villains helping out in an alien invasion or something like FEAR ITSELF makes sense. The final episode of JLU is a good example.
This dude needs to hang out with Razorback, who started his intro issue fighting Spider-Man because his understanding of New York culture was that superheroes fight each other in order to become friends.
Thanks for the coverage! One thing: I'm not sure if it's a policy here to only credit one person or if that was just a slip. On Superior Foes of Spider-Man, Nick Spencer and I are co-credited as "storytellers" and the color artist is Rachelle Rosenberg. Also, that top page was drawn by Rich Ellis.
(Sorry for nagging about this. It's just that there's an awful tendency these days to write about comics as if they're the work of a writer, who is significant, and one or more disposable art-bots, who contribute nothing.)
As a caution when discussing the book, I always warn people that we're full of horrible continuity errors. Most of what happens in Superior Foes is told by Boomerang, the most unreliable narrator imaginable. I like to think much of this book takes place in a parallel existence known as "the liarverse."
Founded by girl geeks and members of the slash fandom, scans_daily strives to provide an atmosphere which is LGBTQ-friendly, anti-racist, anti-ableist, woman-friendly and otherwise discrimination and harassment free.
Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.

I've always yearned to be a concert pianist!"
