"Hey, Rocky! Watch me collapse the Multiverse in on itself!"
"Again?!"
"This time for sure!"

Well, this pair of comments beat anything I had planned.

I don't know what it is, but I'm really digging the "Clark Kent, Super Trucker" look. I mean, he's still wearing his emblem on his chest, but there's just something that seems remarkably unpretentious about Super Man with a beard and blue jeans.

It's the same outfit he was wearing in Action Comics during Grant Morrison's run, other than the beard and the hair. So really it's a "going back to basics" look.

Besides akodo_rokku

It really has more of the "blue collar working man" aesthetic.

This can't be right. I mean, the multiverse is collapsing, and there are... established villains? And the heroes seem to have an interest in stopping it?

My God, I didn't think such a story was possible! Where's the overwrought morality play about justifying monstrous actions followed by self-righteous and almost equally monstrous hypocrisy? Where are the out-of-nowhere cosmic entities that came right out of Planescape and who everyone in-universe keeps saying are so much worse than all of the already established and powerful cosmic entities? Where is the intellectually-superior group of superheroes who think that they're the only ones that can handle such a major problem, and thus are determined to keep the issue a secret from their friends and allies at all costs, no matter how much easier it would be to just ask for some help? This is madness, I tell you! MADNESS!

Wow, Brainiac looks a lot like DCAU Parasite. Brainiasite? Paraniac?

I was thinking more Marvel's Machine Man, during his skinless Earth/Universe/Paradise X incarnation.

I just hit Google Images for Machine Man. You're right - there's a definite resemblance.

Weirdly, I was actually thinking all three; Brainiac a la Parasite, with a Machine Man face...

Is that Braniac, considering we see him on the far left as well? Twice on one Triptych might bw pushing it. Is it Parasite perhaps.

I've come to the conclusion that the Marvel Multiverse was built by Microsoft. It crashes about as often as windows does.

Don't you mean DC, Marvel's was doing mostly fine until Hickman decided to rip off Crisis on infinite earths.
