I love how Jen and Matt awkwardly have no idea who Doctor Faustus is.

I actually used Doctor Faustus as a minion to some an evil cabal in my super hero campaign a while back. He's a lot of fun.

Ironically, they could do that very thing in this title by asking the one actual Latverian civilian emgiree that we DO know, who actually lives in San Francisco too; Mrs Livitz, who lived downstairs from the New Mutants when they were living in the city.

Saurspritze is not a character I thought we'd ever see again (He showed up as one of Das Vernichtungs-Kommandos in the excellent Adventures of Captain America miniseries back in.... oh crap 1991? 24 years ago now? Really? Sigh...)

And I do love the poor guy being assigned to swear in Captain America sweating bullets, and Steve reassuring him.

I know it's just her regular costume colored black but I really like Patsy's stealth suit!

This whole thing reads like someone watched "The Measure Of A Man" one too many times.

And how would sending a couple of capes to "talk to" Faustus make things worse? He's operating from the shadows. He'd have to expose himself as the driving force behind the smear campaign to make use of any attack on him, personally.

The more I think about this arc, the less I like it.
