Uh...is this Inverted Black Cat or have they just gone full-on Supervillain with her now?

Well, Anti-Villain, I guess, but still.

"Secret Avengers Secret High Five" was pretty funny though.

Yeah, she went full super villain in 'Spider-Man' because she was pissed at how SpOck treated her and wants revenge against Spider-Man.

It's even worse than it sounds.

I'm really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really hoping that there is something else at play here. I've always enjoyed Black Cat as a character, and I hate seeing her turned into this.

So do I, speedingtortoise who's actually a stationary platypus. So do I.

First off, LOL!

Second, sorry, she's not brainwashed or inverted.

Yeah, I know :-(. But I'm still holding out for some kind of reveal towards it being part of a long con she's pulling, or really anything other than her turning completely evil just because SpOck was mean to her. Because that being her only justification for her new 'merciless crimelord' persona is just pathetic.

Yes. As an idea the event of SpOck taking over Peter and the consequences that could come from it is brilliant, but so poorly written. Felicia going bad being one of them.

If she had psychological issues shown I'd understand but she's written to be in her right mind while doing evil so it feels shoehorned.

Yeah, same. It's what's been keeping me from picking this up, tbh.

And it didn't occur to this brilliant scientist to just take his coat off long before he hit the bottom?

His tie gets stuck too. Felicia's luck-powers are supposedly working again, so even if he managed to pull his coat free, another part of it would probably get stuck anyway out of bad luck.

Plus his inner Dr. Wiley showed itself at the last minute too.

This part annoyed me. Escalators don't work that way. One does not simply rig an escalator.

It's very cartoon-y to have an intelligent man have his guard off because a woman kisses him despite him hearing her say "That's why it's so hard to say goodbye".

Again. Bad luck powers. Even if it's the most unlikely thing in the world that his tie'll get stuck after his coat gets stuck? Bad luck powers. She isn't rigging it - merely the probability that he'll get stuck.

But you can't get pulled into the works like that. There's safeties preventing just such a thing.

Sure, those can break too, but that wasn't shown to happen here. It's just that, well, the artist tried but he didn't quite convey the whole thing perfectly.

I can get into the idea of the safeties failing because of her bad luck, but not the escalator killing a person as bloody as that. If his neck would've snapped there I wouldn't have noticed it.

So by rule of her heel turn in Amazing, due to being "imprisoned" and stripped of everything "she owned" again, should we expect Felicia to pay Clint and Kate the same spiteful courtesy that she now has for Pete? Because if not then that's just not keeping up her new villain attitude. Which is just plain awful. Sorry, but yeah I get why they're doing it (because she's the only one who can be an "A-List" female villain), but it's just awful all around. Not even this fun mini can save the badly written Black Cat.

Thankfully, there's always Queen Cat who is Hob-Hero approved, which is the brand one can always trust.

I think this is a continuation of her deciding to become a crime boss, but I haven't read what happens between getting angry at Pete and deciding to become a crime boss.

That's all linked in one arc, the Electro/Silk one that opened Amazing. She basically becomes a crime boss by beating up the Eel and taking his gang then talks her way into the cabal of Mr. Negative, the Goblin King, and I forgot the third person. However, that cabal kind of probably is gone now given one of those people might be dead and well Felicia is caught again.
