It staggers me that Wondy isn't allowed to be this amazing in the comics they're actually promoting.

This is a great way to handle the "Diana loves fighting" part of the character - remembering that she is a peacemaker and a class act first and foremost rather than having her scream about how she's God of war and full of bloodlust as if the Amazons raised her on reruns of 300,

Also: kudos to this artist. Expressionate faces and sound anatomy/gestures/poses/costume designs are like rays of sunshine. :-D

What is "Sensation Comics"? Does it have a different guest star each issue?

It's the digital Wonder Woman comic, akin to the current run of Legends of the Dark Knight with rotating creator teams.

Like Batman 66, it comes out in print form a little while after it's been released digitally, I have it on my pull list (which is more than I can say for the the main WW titles)

It's the digital only Wonder Woman comic, also known as where Wonder Woman fans go to have their hearts refilled with hope sucked away with grimdark comics and current Wonder Woman characterization. It usually changes creative teams every couple of issues or so, and jumps between continuity and teamups. It's basically awesome.

Here you go, don't spend all your money at once. ;)

I buy the print version.

And there's pretty much no continuity.

Come to think of it...who does do Superman's hair? It's not like he can just go to any old barber, he needs the real strong stuff to keep his rat's nest neat and clean.

Also yay, Wonder Woman!

His Ma, of course. They had to do something with all that kryptononian space wreckage he came in...even if it was just making a comb and a pair of scissors.

God, now I can't stop imagining that Clark might not have been the one to come up with his iconic coif...

"But Ma! You always make my hair look so dorky! Can't you just let me do it myself?"

"Don't even start this, Clark! Last time I let you cut your own hair, you gave yourself that disgusting mullet. Remember how that turned out?"

"B-but I liked the mullet..."

"It make you look like an actor from a bad porno. Now sit down and let me give you a respectable hairdo befitting my little Superman..."

Lovely. I'm only glad Nu52 Martha isn't around to see him zipping about in that bizarre armour rather than the hand-sewn costume she put all that time and effort into.

Most of the time, the stories themselves in Sensation Comics seem to be afterthoughts and the real point is a love letter to the way Wonder Woman should be written.

This isn't a bad thing at all.

I like this art.

I am amused that this version of Wondy has cellulite.
