Star Trek/Green Lantern: The Spectrum War, an epic six-part comic-book crossover event that will take flight in July.



U.S.S Enterprise crew members meet Hal Jordan and the entire Green Lantern Corps Green in an adventure that spans space, time and all the colors of the spectrum. Set in Star Trek's 23rd Century, the balance of the universe will be tested when the Green Lantern Corps' Power Rings come into the possession of certain Star Trek characters while a dark and powerful evil looms around every corner. Only the combined power of the Green Lantern Corp and the Federation stand any chance of stopping those who worship evil's might.

That looks like General Chang from "Undiscovered Country" with a Yellow Ring. I could imagine the Ego's of Kirk and Hal clashing...This is going to be AWESOME!!!!

I see what you're trying to say there, but do bear in mind that "Indian" is a nationality, rather than purely an ethnicity. (and Ricardo Montalban even managed, somehow, to be cast as a Japanese guy in an episode of Hawaii 5-0... it was not his most convincing performance)

Plus they had to smother the lighter-skinned Mexican man in brown makeup just so he could even slightly pass himself off a an Indian Sikh. Honestly the British dude makes more since (India having been a British colony for like two hundred years and all that). I think that a lot of people would have been more willing to roll with it if they'd just explained it (like Adm. Robocop had Khan's appearance surgically altered to better hide his true identity or something like that).

Spock would be a perfect Green Lantern though.... enormous willpower, no acceptance of fear... though I'm never sure how imaginative Vulcans are.

That is a question. Vulcans have emotions but TRY not to let them influence their judgement.

Spock with a power ring would probably make things from his memory instead of inventing something. Although I am sure there were Vulcan inventors.

It's a collaboration between both companies, so if it's 6 issues, 3 will be from IDW and 3 will be from DC, probably...I think Malibu and DC did the same thing when Malibu had DS9 and DC still had TNG and they did a crossover.

Marvel were the publishers of "X-Men/New Teen Titans" with the notion that DC would publish the sequel that never materialised.

Marvel vs DC and JLA/Avengers were joint efforts between DC and Marvel.
