I'm gonna take a wild stance here and say I don't care about the origin change. Because Azzarello's run was the best run since Rucka. The stories were really incredibly good. And since Diana being a child of Zeus was pretty key in the overall plot... if that's what it takes to get good Wonder Woman stories, then that's what it takes.

Obviously there have been and continue to be good Wonder Woman stories without that change -- see Sensation Comics -- but I'm not willing to throw the baby out with the bathwater in this case.
