I love that there are multiple viable options of which Avenger would be masquerading as Doom. Tony has the stronger connection to Doom himself (and armored figures in general), but Hank is more central to Ultron storylines.
I find myself inordinately pleased at Vision seemingly figuring out who Doom is. If I'm right it's Doombot, from Avengers AI, a series that deserved more love.
And Ulton turning himself into the All-Father is amazing. I absolutely love how Al Ewing manages to have fun with things without having them feel out of place in the modern publishing context.

I will admit that having the Odinforce, Ultron's native intelligence/ruthless mindset AND the Infinity Gauntlets in one bad guy is a little much, but it's portrayed in such a straight-forwardly "yeah, I know, let's roll with it" way that the over-the-top threat matches the over-the-top circumstances and general narrative pretty snugly. What's so terrible?
Those aren't Infinity Gauntlets, just typical Asgardian bling. And we have no indication so far that Ultron possesses the Odinforce (highly doubtful as it's a mystical power passed down via inheritance), merely that he's somehow usurped Odin's throne. Or Frigga's, we don't know who was in charge when he took over.
Aw, so they aren't. That's disappointing, I was hoping for a double there,
and they look much better than the usual Gauntlet. Though who's to say that
Ultron doesn't have it in itself to duplicate whatever extradimensional
influence the Allfather Odin uses to tap into the Odinforce. Stranger
things have happened, and Odin is normally somebody who got his clout and
authority thanks to careful study and research rather than innate
betterness.
"My conversion to the way of Ultron must have been highly traumatic" Well, yeah. Getting a hand through your chest (courtesy of an evil version of yourself no less) does that to people. Also, I call bullshit on Cap's shield decapitating Hulk (even though it appears to be one of his earlier incarnations going by his neanderthalish appearance and Joe Fixit-y speech). Still, I'm certainly on-board with everything else I'm seeing, it feels delightfully comic-book-y.
It depends on how strong the person throwing it is. Cap once used it to decapitate Baron Blood, so in theory the edge is sharp enough that someone with half or more of the Hulk's strength could manage it.
Wolverine shouldn't be strong enough to do more than make minor scratches on the Hulk's skin with his claws, which I believe has been borne out by their various confrontations.
This is the weird sci-fi comic book scenarios that can only really happy in comics that I love. It just feels so fun. and that last reveal of Ultron as All-Father is really cool. I understand its only really here to tie into the film (or at least have the character of ultron, since its pretty different to the film), but this actually feels more unlimited than most mainstream comics currently.
I tried tagging icon_uk in the comment section when cyberghostface asked the question about leaked pages, but I don't think it works like it does on Facebook. Shall I send a PM?

Not gonna lie, I got a kick out of the Vision and Black Widow dialogue between the two. Seeing the two coldest members interact for a page I don't see it very often in many medias. As to the story this looks to be shaping into another favorite Ultron Story shame about the new Thor's involvement, she'll make a good jobber never the less.
Is this 'set' in any particular verse, or more of a random time/era/universe crossover in ill-defined bad other future verse?
It's the cover that threw me off. I thought this was some tie-in or follow-up to MCU cause of Scarlett Johansson on the cover (could they at least lengthen the hair to match Widow in the comic itself?)
Content seems unrelated to cover. The action seems to take place in a 616 Bad Future, with characters pulled from various points in 616's past and possible future. There's Rhodey!Iron Man in the suit with the roller skates, Walt Simonson's Beard&Mask!Thor, Current!Thor who doesn't have the heart to tell Beard!Thor the bad news, hasn't-joined-the-Avengers-yet Hulk, and a Ms. America who, if I'm not mistaken, is Luke Cage's daughter all grown up. And of course, present-day Black Widow and Vision.
