The Star Wars Pt II
May. 5th, 2015 11:23 pmSince there was some interest after the first post, let's continue on to issue 2 of The Star Wars.

But the trackers lose track of what they're tracking.

Hmm, if Annikin hadn't got hisLightsaberLazersword up in time, would Luke have actually bisected him? (And LOL at Luke telling Annikin to keep it in his pants... 'In another universe, you wouldn't be saying that!')
Anyway, Luke goes to see Whitsun in Medvac...

Leia doesn't appreciate Annikin telling her what to do.

That is...not at all cool, Annikin. Seriously. You could have settled this without violence. But let's put this unpleasant scene behind us, and never mention it again. The story certainly does.
So, meanwhile, back on Aquilaea, the battle is joined. The initial Imperial strike kills the king and disables most Aquilaean space ports, but they do manage to get one 6-fighter squadron into the ai...er...into the bit above the air, from the spaceport of Gordon (...er...yes, Gordon. Dammit, Lucas.)...

Despite being 6 2-man fighters against a That's Not a Moon, Devil Squadron does manage to do some damage, so let's glance inside the station to see what the reaction is...

I like the little hands on Artwo's dome. And I swear Threepio looks like a slightly more androgenous version of Futura from Metropolis. (I'll comment more on that aspect when I post more about the droids in another post.)
Artwo proves to be wrong, and Threepio is not happy about that. Unf--
What? Artwo's talking? Huh. Well, will you look at that.
Anyway. Unfortunately, since there's only 6 fighters, they don't really stand much of a chance against theDeath StarImperial station...

Next time, the Star Wars begin in earnest! (Also, the Sith make the scene, but who cares about that. >_>)

Then again the one time someone started to say that in canon Star Wars Vader started chocking them before they could get the second syllable of Fortress out.
