So Wonder Woman gets slapped down because "Superman's a smug shit head, but y'know, he's Superman and everyone just puts up with it"? If Diana has to "act like a goddess" then why isn't Superman being torn just as much of a new one for not acting like a halfway decent human being?

And did a comic with an all-male creative team really use the "It must be because she's on her period" joke in 2014? Really?

I think my issue with this title is much the same as I had with the Bwah-ha-ha-ha! JLI era (back when it was still new on the newsstands). They find a character trait, amp it up to the exclusion of any other trait and then just keep flogging that horse like it's a long running sitcom with nowhere else to go and it just... stops being funny.

Boy, that came out negative... maybe time to start looking for another "Accentuate the positive" post to make.

Superman deserves to be slapped down, but at the same time, she is the one actually wrecking stuff.

The scans from the previous series seemed rather interesting, but yeah this preview just turned me completely off.

Superman stole Wonder Woman's glasses. Wonder Woman tore through at least one wall as well as causing other property damage in order to assault Superman. Even if Superman is an asshole who deserves a good whoopin' (or at the very least a verbal beatdown), that doesn't justify her actions. Hurting other people to get revenge, both in terms of physical injury and loss of money/income for the restaurant owners and employees, isn't acceptable. In this specific instance, Wonder Woman's offense is far greater than Superman's.

The whole comic becomes much more enjoyable when it's read as the cast of Archer
