Let's take a brief look at Futures End #48, since it is actually important for a comic tomorrow.









Well before Drake can be assimilated, he and Mr. Terrific are rescued by some humans (including the Atom!) and they are escorted to safety away from Brother Eye's lair. Once underground and safe, Tim recognizes the leader of the group who rescued him's voice. It's...







And that is how the entire weekly series ends. On that last page and with no resolution at all. It basically leads into the new Batman Beyond series staring Tim Drake instead of Terry McGinnis, who is pushing up roses if you recall.

So how do you feel about that? After everything you saw in Futures End and where it first started, how do you feel about this as an ending for it?
