A bit of JLU (count the cameos) and a dash of Sky High and we have DC's new multi-media, multi platform franchise targetting the young female demographic set a school dedicated to training the next generation of heroes;

Amongst others we have the Flash, the Cheetah, Stafire and her brother Ryand'r, Hawk I and Dove II, Star Sapphire, Green Lantern, Dr Midnite, Fire, Wonder Girl (Donna Troy), Vibe, Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes), Psimon, Adam Strange, Mal Duncan, Dr Light II, Black Orchid, Bunker, Thunder and Lightning, Jinx (Teen Titans cartoon variation), Ms Martian, Hawkgirl and many others.

And Principle Waller is about the only person I can imagine being able to keep any sort of a lid on things... This could be FUN!

Hehe looks like fun. Loved that the scene with the graduating "heroes of tomorrow" are among DC's oldest characters.

I'll be watching just for the cameos alone.

Harley and Ivy as heroes still feels wrong.

Also, how many times did she say "Super"? :p

Other than that? Cool.

It would probably help if they hadn't featured her during the "fight crime" portion of the theme song. But yeah, cute. (And Jinx!)

The only thing I'm not sold on is Wonder Woman being a contemporary of Batgirl and Supergirl. Principal Waller is an inspired choice.

To be honest, for a moment I thought the principal was Vixen. The earrings threw me slightly. But yeah, as everyone else said, Waller's pretty much the perfect headteacher.

One petty grievance: was it really, absolutely necessary to work 'DC' into the theme song? I mean that's like going "AAAAssembled we are strooong, forever fight as ooooone... marvelAvengers, Assemble!"

It's weird to see WB (though the animation dept always been better about this than the movie/tv side) using DC characters (such as Miss Martian, Dr. Mid-nite or Pantha for instance in this clip) who the current DC comics proper has basically tossed over the wayside in their reboot. The tv shows are doing this too with characters from the JSA (something that was supposed to exist in the DCnU but barely does, if it does - I'm not sure since I no longer read Earth-2).
